Tonight's web conference was validation for what I have been struggling to understand all week. That is, just what was the assignment? There were multiple instructions with slightly different bents presented in different venues. I hope that what little I heard tonight will help me make sure I have everything done.
I did hear of the importance of teamwork and that it is expected. There was clarification on the podcast and the creative commons posting. Some folk were still in need of partners, as Sherri and I are, for weeks three, four, and five's assignment.
I struggled a bit with the podcast as I had not done one before, but do one I did! My audio in the podcast is better than in the personal story we had to produce last week.
One other very important point that was brought up in the web conference before everyone was kicked out was that we as future educational technology leaders are expected to lead reluctant schools and districts into the mist of Web 2.0 tool use. I’m going to like that.
