This week's assignment has been an eye opener. Don't procrastinate when it comes to creating multimedia assignments. I did a bit of that (procrastination) and did not end up with the type of product I wanted. I found myself without enough time to fine-tune my product to my satisfaction. That is without increased frustration.
I became frustrated with the amount of time needed to produce what was asked for this week. I could not open up the assignment page and breeze through getting it done. But... once I started, it was a labor of love. I chose to make a video story about my favorite brother. He was the one out of five, I was closest to. I lost him two years ago and I thought this the perfect opportunity to memorialize him on You Tube.
Getting to the meat and potatoes of this assignment was not easy either. I couldn't download the weekly overview or one of the essential readings. That went on until they were finally posted in Epic and sent as an email. These kinds of glitches don't usually happen, but I was getting a bit unnerved there for a while. All in all, I got it done, posted, and am finishing this blog in reflection.
